Sexually dimorphic expression and regulatory sequence of dnali1 in the olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus

چکیده

Dynein axonemal light intermediate chain 1 (dnali1) is an important part of dyneins and plays role in the growth development animals. However, there little information about dnali1 fish. Herein, we cloned gene from genome olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus), a commercially maricultured fish China, Japan, Korea, analyzed its expression patterns different gender The DNA sequence contained 771 bp open reading frame (ORF), two sizes 5? untranslated region (5?UTR), 1499 3? (3?UTR). Two duplicated 922 nt fragments were found mRNA. first fragment downstream coding front portion 3?UTR, second was entirely located 3?UTR. Multiple alignments indicated that Dnali1 protein putative conserved coiled-coil domain. Its showed sexually dimorphic with predominant testis, lower other tissues. longer 5?UTR specifically expressed testis. highest level testis detected at stages IV V. Transient analysis repeated 3?UTR down-regulated GFP early stage zebrafish. might play especially period spermatogenesis, repetitive sequences contain some regulatory elements for cilia.

LGP2 Expression is Enhanced by Interferon Regulatory Factor 3 in Olive Flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus

In innate immunity, LGP2 (laboratory of genetics and physiology 2) plays a very important role in the production of type I interferon (IFN) through recognition of cytosolic viral RNA. Although viral infection or stimulation with double-strand RNA dramatically induces expression of the LGP2 gene, the underlying transcriptional mechanism has never been studied. Here, we cloned and characterized t...

Long Photoperiod Affects Gonadal Development in Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus

To effects of sex maturation in olive flounder by regulating long photoperiod, gonadal development and GTH mRNA expression in the pituitary were investigated. Photoperiod was treated natural photoperiod and long photoperiod (15L:9D) conditions from September 2011 to March 2012. The results showed that natural photoperiodic group showed a higher gonadosomatic index (GSI) than long photoperiodic ...

Genetic Linkage Map of Olive Flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus

Olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, is an important fish species in Asia, both for fisheries and aquaculture. As the first step for better understanding the genomic structure and functional analysis, we constructed a genetic linkage map for olive flounder based on 180 microsatellites and 31 expressed sequence tag (EST)-derived markers. Twenty-four linkage groups were identified, consistent ...

Transcriptional Responses of Olive Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) to Low Temperature

The olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) is an economically important flatfish in marine aquaculture with a broad thermal tolerance ranging from 14 to 23°C. Cold-tolerant flounder that can survive during the winter season at a temperature of less than 14°C might facilitate the understanding of the mechanisms underlying the response to cold stress. In this study, the transcriptional response ...

The Expression Analysis of Complement Component C3 during Early Developmental Stages in Olive Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus)

Fish larvae are immediately exposed to microbes from hatching to maturation of their lymphoid organs, therefore effective innate mechanisms is very important for survival in such an environment. The key component of innate immune system, C3 is central protein of all activation pathways of the complement system, leading to inflammatory reactions, such as opsonisation, chemotaxis, and cell lysis ...
